Welcome to Mid-South Eskie Alliance, American Eskimo Dog Rescue. We are a group of dedicated volunteers uniting to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome these beautiful companions.... the American Eskimo Dog.

The proceeds from this time share & 50-50 raffle will to be used to benefit several eskie rescue groups including Chicagoland Eskie Rescue, Eskie Rescuers United, Heart Bandits, Mid-South Eskie Alliance and Rescued Treasures. The proceeds from this raffle will be split among the five groups to be used for vetting/medical care of eskies in foster care.

Prize: Seven nights for up to six people at the Sandstone Creek Club in Vail, CO

& 50% of raffle proceeds!!!

Vacation dates are from March 31st-April 7th, 2012.

Vacation and 50-50 Raffle Tickets

POLICIES & PROCEDURES

Our raffle manager will be entering all ticket numbers and recipient contact information into a spreadsheet. A random number generator will be used to pick the winning number from the content of the spreadsheet after the sale of raffle tickets has closed.

If the winner cannot use the vacation they will still receive 50% of the proceeds of the 50-50 raffle. The raffle manager will then select numbers until someone that can use only the time share is chosen.

When you purchase electronic tickets you will not receive physical tickets by mail. Instead, you will receive a list of your ticket numbers attached to your receipt from Click&Pledge. Doing this will help control our costs leaving more funds to help our eskies. While we will honor request for less than five (5) Electronic Tickets, we respectfully request that you order a minimum of five (5) to help reduce our Click&Pledge expenses.

Our Mission:

We recognize that there are millions of companion animals that have no homes through no fault of their own. We know that we do not have the resources to rescue all of these pets and so we focus our efforts on the breed we know best: the American Eskimo Dog .

Our Pledge:

* Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome American Eskimo Dogs

* Provide alternatives to the surrender of AED's to animal shelters through, training, counseling and adoption services

* Educate the general public about the unique needs of the AE

* Build alliances with other AED rescues, All-Breed and Mixed-breed rescues whenever possible

* Build a network of individual rescuers to further this goal

* Educate the general public on the benefits of spaying/neutering of ALL companion animals
* Promote the humane treatment of ALL animals

We are in need of donations. We have taken in an awful lot of dogs this year and it has strained our budget to the breaking point. There have been 3 that required heartworm treatment and that is expensive. We don't skimp on the dogs....much of their care comes out of our own pockets. In addition to monetary donations we welcome gift cards to Wal-Mart, PetSmart, Tractor Supply and any online pet supply. We are always in need of crates, exercise pens, toys, grooming supplies and collars/leashes. Donations can be made directly to our veterinarians (info on request). Because many of the dogs we take in are in other states and because we adopt out of state gas cards are also very welcome.

We are now able to microchip our American Eskimo Dogs!! Each dog will be chipped before it is adopted.

A Rescuers Creed

I shall be a believer of all that is good in man and of all that is deserving in animals. I shall plead for their lives, campaign for their safety and uphold their right to a natural death. I shall seek out the injured and the maimed, the unloved, and the abandoned and tend to them in their last days. I shall not forget their place in the hierarchy of life, nor that we walk in each other's paths. I shall bear witness to the wonder they bring into our lives and to the beauty they bestow upon our souls. I shall renew their spirits when they are waning, bind their wounds when they bleed, cradle them when they whimper, and comfort them when they mourn. I shall be near them in their hour of greatest need - a companion and friend when the time has come. I shall watch over them and console them and ask that the angels gather them in their arms. From the creatures of the earth I shall learn the fruits of compassion and undying love, and I shall be called the beloved of God. In their company I shall indeed be blessed.
