Hi! I'm Zeek and I'm a dog who came from a horrible place. I was living with over 100 other animals and some nice people from the local animal shelter saved us. They got in touch with local rescue groups and Mid South Eskie Alliance picked me! Was I lucky! Mid South put me with a wonderful foster family and I really made fast progress. Let me tell you a little bit about myself....
I like my people. I will follow you almost anywhere and will make grunting noises if I can't find you.

I like canned food, rawhide, bellyrubs. I'm just learning to like toys and treats. You see, we never had those things where I was before. This rescue stuff is really amazing. Regular food, treats and love...what dog could ask for more?

Dislikes: Being picked up, it scares me. Wet grass, I like my toes to stay dry. I may need encouragement to venture out into the yard.

I don't mind cats. I really don't pay attention to them one way or another.

Small children may intimidate me....But I am better with older, more quiet children.

Mostly what I need is a place to call home where I can be myself. I'd love to be a lap dog if only I could find the right place.
