Mid-South Eskie Alliance was formed in September of 2006 in response to the growing need  for organizations that rescue American Eskimo Dogs. 

We take in only the number of dogs we can care for in a manner that meets our high standards.  We do not believe in "warehousing" dogs.  Eskies were bred to be companion pets and that is how we treat them.  They share our homes and lives with us. 

Our Eskies are mostly from euthanizing shelters.  We do take in owner surrendered dogs and from other sources.    Their histories are largely unknown to us so we evaluate them carefully to make sure of their temperament and behaviors.  All are fully vetted.  Any health issues are addressed. 

To adopt from MSEA you must first fill out an adoption application.   We realize that this may seem like a time consuming  process but please be assured that we are always seeking ways to streamline this process.  We have a graduated adoption fee.   This fee does not cover our costs involved with these dogs.  We still have no choice but to seek donations and do fundraisers.
